Hello everyone. It’s been long
since I’ve posted anything. I’ve been working on some projects as well as
caught up with some important work. Feels good to be writing something and getting
all crafty again and again. No one could ever stop loving once you start loving it. J
I’ve recently purchased few
wonderful cotton, acrylic blend yarns which I will be using in my future
projects. I am loving them more every time I see them. I can’t wait to start experimenting with it. And
I probably would be spending a lot more time in the store for purchasing more
goodies.
This week’s project is a DIY one
and it goes well with organizing your stuff.
You will need:
- A cardboard box of your choice
- Decorative paper or sticker roll
- Glue (if needed)
- Scissors
- Measuring tape
Instructions:
- Measure the box all sides and cut your wrapping paper accordingly.
- Glue it on all sides of the box in and out. You can use plain white or any colour paper for the inside. It is totally your go.
- If you are using self-adhesive paper like me, more than half of your work is done. You simply have to cut and stick it on the box.
NOTE: Be sure to remove those little air bubbles in between by piercing a pin on it and rub it gently to smoothen and flatten the bubbles.
And there you have it. Your own cute decorative storage box from an old cardboard box is ready. Stuff your favourite items into it, label them and beautify your space. J
I will show you next week how I used them for storage and organizing my stuff.
